Here at FlySafair, we are pleased to work with the Travel Management Trade. We understand that the needs of the trade are unique and offer several different solutions to meet and exceed the requirements of this important industry.

Distribution Channels

In the last three years, FlySafair has invested in a strong distribution base. Flights are sold via the airline's public-facing website and through a plethora of online travel agencies including the likes of Travelstart, Flightsite and Travelfusion.

FlySafair also has distribution agreements with both Shoprite Checkers (via Computicket Travel) and Pick n Pay. The airline has also integrated with travel companies such as the Flight Centre Travel Group, Bidtravel Group, and Tourvest Business.

There are several means through which the trade can access FlySafair tickets for resale. Each channel has its unique strengths, and FlySafair's Key Account Consultants are always happy to guide agents as to which setup will best serve their needs. Here are the three primary ways to access FlySafair stock:

Travel Management Portal

FlySafair Travel Management Portal can be used by both Travel Management Professionals and Small Business Owners to book and manage their travel on FlySafair. The Portal offers several features including:

  • Comprehensive reporting for easy financial reconciliation
  • Optional “in fare” mark-ups
  • Saved Credit Cards
  • An Invoice Payment Method option
  • Save frequent traveller details for easy booking
  • An exclusive corporate fare only available on this channel

Once registered on the Travel Management Portal, it can be accessed by simply logging in to the FlySafair website.

Global Distribution Systems (GDS)

FlySafair inventory is available under the FA airline code on Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre. Ticketing in South Africa can be done on our (FA-640) stock, while ticketing outside of South Africa is issued on Hahn Air (HR-169) stock.

Application Programming Interface (API)

FlySafair also offers the facility to establish a direct API link into third-party booking systems that are often utilised by Travel Management Companies, thereby offering direct access on these tools to FlySafair inventory.
