The FlySafair Community

In the number of years that we've been in business, we've worked alongside brands whose visions align with our own. In so doing, we have created a FlySafair Community.

As FlySafair, we are the trusted domestic carrier of the Springboks, we've backed the boys in green and gold since 2017. In 2019 we were honoured to fly the Boks across South Africa for their victory tour, following their victory in Japan. We continue to support the Springboks and wish them well in France in 2023.

As with the Boks, we've identified other brands, projects and foundations that align with our values. Below is the list of other brands we work hand-in-hand with:

Get Lucky Summer Logo

SA electronic music group, GoodLuck, has signed a partnership deal with us in support of the Get Lucky Summer concert series.

Several South African coastal towns play host to this concert series, with shows taking place in Plett, Constantia and Hermanus. We signed up with them in celebration of the first pandemic free Summer since 2019.

Michalengelo Awards Logo

We partnered with the Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Awards, signing up as sponsors of the Brandy and Whisky Trophies.

The wine and spirit industry in South Africa was negatively affected by the lockdown during the pandemic. As such, we were more than happy to jump onboard and partner with these prestigious awards to help support this sector in the aftermath of the pandemic.

Wings and Wishes

We’ve partnered with Wings and Wishes, an NGO dedicated to transporting critically and chronically ill children to receive lifesaving specialist medical care anywhere in Africa.

We were impressed with the foundation for their tenacity and determination during the pandemic as they were able to overcome all the hurdles put in their way during this time, and were able to fund over a thousand trips in 2020.

As an operator in the travel sector we wanted to support this worthy cause with flights. Choosing to fly with us, you will be helping us continue to support this foundation.

Business Booster

In September we launched a new initiative called Business Booster. The aim of the initiative was to give a boost and help grow small businesses in South Africa.

Each of the six chosen entrepreuners were gifted with 10 x free return class flights, a full page ad in our inflight magazine, a banner on our website and more.

Our aim is to make the Business Booster an annual project, so please keep your eye on our social media pages to find out when we launch it again.
